It’s this statement that amazes me ‘Mr Clegg said the reforms move would allow people “to treat each other like human beings and not like potential litigants”.’ If you’re an employer that thinks your employees are nothing more than potential litigants you have some serious problems that need dealing with.
Of course if the coalition were serious about change they would have allowed a free vote on a referendum on EU membership because once out of that we would be free to amend Employment Law as we choose. Most of the proposed changes would eventually be ruled unlawful by the European Court of Justice.
