Absolutely mad!!
by Practice Administration Team
While looking for something on the Internet, I came across this, Can you believe it! Being a parent myself I find it hard to believe that a school would not know if a stranger was lurking around, although I don’t pick my child up everyday I can put parents faces to each child in my son’s class and I’m sure others can in there son’s or daughter’s classes. What a shame for the school involved because I for one certainly enjoy seeing my son having fun and learning how to compete. What are you views?

Is it is worth listening to Michael Sandel’s Reith lectures. He deals with the general malaise that follows ‘gated communities’ (which is this is) and what happens when we no longer are able to engage with each other (more gated communities).
Someone needs to sit down with the school and figure out where they think all the paedophiles and abductors are hiding.
Years ago, in another place, I used to do neighbourhood watch - 2 hrs shifts from 1-3am. And I read up on NW’s.
The interesting result is that citizens, and particularly older people stop being scared. Engagement matters.
