Thanks, I am aware of the report.
Your first paragraph is just an introduction. The second raises some of the issues which may be important. The third and fourth are pure politics. A bit of crystal ball gazing is important for employment issues but what does your final paragraph add to that: "Now the real things to ponder over: are the Conservative Party right or centre? blue or green? or red for that matter? What if". One key proposal you didn't mention concerns the repeal of the working time regulations. What might this mean for businesses and the employee? I would much rather hear about that than 'identity crisis' political jibes at any political party.

I enjoy your posts immensely usually. Even if August is slow news wise I hope you can stick to commenting on employment issues with a light-hearted but apolitical touch from now on.
Thanks

You obviously not read the Redwood report or the press surrounding it. If the conservatives do come into power then these may well be live employment issues they want to introduce. A bit of crystal ball gazing in employment is a good thing and we as a firm always have our ear on the ground for potential changes for our clients.

More of a political posting than an employment law one. Disappointing.
