Contracts of Employment

By Liam - Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Contracts of employment are a legal requirement for all employers. Even if an employer employs only 1 or 2 employees, those employees are entitled to be issued with a written statement of terms and conditions of employment (aka a contract of employment) within 2 months of the commencement of their employment.

PJH Law’s PersonnelWizard® Contracts Wizard service allows employers to draft a legally compliant contract of employment in minutes by answering a few simple questions about key terms of employment such as hours, pay holiday entitlement, notice entitlement etc. The Wizard reduces the scope for drafting error and speeds up the production of contract of employment.

For small employers, PJH Law’s Contracts Wizard can be used to generate a contract on an ad-hoc basis on a pay per use basis (click here for more information).

For employers who prefer a Contracts Wizard to be created based on their current contract template, licensed for the creation of an unlimited number of contracts and kept under constant review for legislative changes, we can create a bespoke contract wizard.

Please contact us on 08448 505 805 or by e-mail wizard@pjhlaw.co.uk for details of our charges which start at only £5.00 per month (plus setup fee).

A short demonstration of the PersonnelWizard® is available here.

Personnel Wizard® Compromise Agreement Wizard Price Reduction

By Liam - Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

The cost of using the PJH Law Personnel Wizard® Compromise Agreement Wizard has just been reduced to £15 plus VAT (£17.63).

The Compromise Agreement Wizard drafts legally binding Compromise Agreements for employers without the need to instruct a solicitor to do this work. Filling in the online form with the details for inclusion in the Agreement (termination date, payment amount, details about benefits such as company cars and healthcare, references, resignation from directorships etc. ) takes a matter of minutes and the completed Compromise Agreement arrives as a word document within minutes, ready to print in duplicate and give to the employee to take to a solicitor for signing (unfortunately even the Wizard can’t magic away the legal requirement for the employee to receive independent legal advice!).

The Compromise Agreement Wizard allows employers to receive the Compromise Agreement faster than instructing a solicitor to draft one and at a fraction of the cost.

The Compromise Agreement Wizard can be found here. If you require further information, please call us on 08448 505 805.

Compromise Agreement Wizard

By Liam - Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

Last year, PJH Law launched its new Compromise Agreement Wizard Service as reported here and here.

The Compromise Agreement Wizard allows employers to draft Compromise Agreements without any legal drafting skills. Each Agreement is created by answering a series of questions which adapt every use depending on answers to earlier questions and allow a bespoke Compromise Agreement to be created which arrives in your e-mail inbox.

Yesterday a client used the Wizard and we received this comment:

“May I take this opportunity to thank you for your kind, fast and excellent service offered to our company this afternoon.  Within 1 hour we managed to obtain a Compromise Agreement using your online ‘Wizard’.

Furthermore, your assistance thereafter was so prompt and helpful.

You offer a unique service that is not often available and we although not for this matter, we hope to contact you in the future for any other matters we may have.

Yours sincerely,

Michael Christou

Managing Director

Elegant Property Solutions Ltd”

If you would like to use the Compromise Agreement Wizard, click here. The cost per use has just reduced to £50 plus VAT per use, a saving of £100 plus VAT per agreement and volume usage discounts are available - call us for more information.

Team of the Year

By Sarah - Monday, March 9th, 2009

As Philip reported on Friday our mantelpiece has another trophy for Team of the Year in the local business awards.  This makes it a hat trick of awards in less than 12 months.  You can watch the video of who we were up against here.  For even more of a laugh you can see the video of the night here, unfortunately for us one of our tables was right next to the video camera so highly embarassing!

Another shining example of how your people are your best asset!
