Contracts of employment are a legal requirement for all employers. Even if an employer employs only 1 or 2 employees, those employees are entitled to be issued with a written statement of terms and conditions of employment (aka a contract of employment) within 2 months of the commencement of their employment.

The cost of using the PJH Law Personnel Wizard® Compromise Agreement Wizard has just been reduced to £15 plus VAT (£17.63).
The Compromise Agreement Wizard drafts legally binding Compromise Agreements for employers without the need to instruct a solicitor to do this work. Filling in the online form with the details for inclusion in the Agreement (termination date, payment amount, details about benefits such as company cars and healthcare, references, resignation from directorships etc. ) takes a matter of minutes and the completed Compromise Agreement arrives as a word document within minutes, ready to print in duplicate and give to the employee to take to a solicitor for signing (unfortunately even the Wizard can’t magic away the legal requirement for the employee to receive independent legal advice!).

Last year, PJH Law launched its new Compromise Agreement Wizard Service as reported here and here.
The Compromise Agreement Wizard allows employers to draft Compromise Agreements without any legal drafting skills. Each Agreement is created by answering a series of questions which adapt every use depending on answers to earlier questions and allow a bespoke Compromise Agreement to be created which arrives in your e-mail inbox.

As Philip reported on Friday our mantelpiece has another trophy for Team of the Year in the local business awards. This makes it a hat trick of awards in less than 12 months. For even more of a laugh you can see the video of the night here, unfortunately for us one of our tables was right next to the video camera so highly embarassing!
