Disability

For the purposes of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 a person has a disability if they have a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day to day activites.

The Tribunal will decide whether a Claimant has a disability using the ACAS Code of Practice on disability as guidance.
