Flexible working increases productivity

by Nicky

Is flexible working a good mechanism or a bad one? The answer to this may often depend upon whether you are the employer or the employee.

However, it has been reported by Personnel Today that allowing an employee flexibility in working from home, and providing him/her with the means to work from home, often results in a less stressed worforce. This in turn creates a happier and more efficient workforce resulting in greater productivity. Surely this is a good thing for both parties?
