The Eagle has landed……

I remember seeing the original ‘moon walk’ 40 years ago at the tender age of 13. I can clearly recall my parents waking my younger brother and myself up in the early hours of the 20th July 1969 so that we could come down and watch Neil Armstrong take his first historic steps . I remember watching the grainy black and white footage and marvelling at these men actually walking and driving buggys on the moon! It is as fascinating today as it was then and seeing the digitally enhanced footage brings back all those happy memories.
