Holiday for Oil Rig Workers

The Employment Appeal Tribunal has held that the Working Time Regulations do apply to workers on the North Sea Oil Rigs UK Continental Shelf. In particular that workers are entitled to holiday under the WTR. What the EAT has not determined is where exactly the worker goes for the holiday, when he/she is stuck on the rig, and who pays for them to go back to mainland!
