A recent open day organised by QD stores to recruit 25 employees were overwhelmed when they received over 1800 applications for the positions! At one point crowds were reportedly queuing up three flights of stairs at a local hotel to obtain an application form!
This replicated a similar situation earlier in the year when Twycross Zoo recruited 150 employees and received over 3000 applications for the positions.
