Of bubblegum and other sticky moments…….

There’s nothing more annoying than finding a piece of discarded chewing gum on your clothes or shoes. It’s sticky, messy and covered in someone else’s DNA- 100% disgusting. My other half wore a new coat to a football match for the first time and it got covered in some hare brained football fan’s overly masticated gum. It left a mark on the coat that would not wash out. We were well and truely hacked off. Someone else’s carelessness, laziness and selfishness having a direct and adverse impact on our day out, as well as Jacinta’s coat collection.
We were not as hacked off, though, as a Director at an IT Company who wanted all staff to submit to a DNA and then a lie detector test to find out which employee had thoughtlessly discarded some gum which ended up on the well pressed trousers of a Director.
