Overriding Objective

An Employment Tribunal will  always try to deal with cases justly (the ‘overriding objective’) by:

1. ensuring parties are on an equal footing

2. ensuring that the case is dealt with expeditiously and fairly

3. dealing with the case in ways which are proprtionate to the complexity of the issues

4. saving expense
