Parental leave extension

by Sarah

On Monday the EU voted in favour of increasing unpaid parental leave from three months to four months by 2012 and up to three months could be transferred from one parent to another.  The four months would be per parent per child but don’t panic it is unpaid and under used in the UK.  The law will have to be implemented in the UK before it changes the current parental leave rights here in the UK.  Watch this space…..
