We quite often get asked by Employers what to do in a disciplinary or grievance setting where you have one peron’s word against another and the manager conducting the meeting is unsure whom to believe. We say that a manager’s job is to evaluate the evidence and come to a conclusion as to which witness is more credible and to be believed. This case illustrates the way competing allegations can be set out to help to establish where the truth lies.
