Services for employees

As an employee, the intricacies of employment legislation can be overwhelming. PJH Law can help you when you think you are being treated unfairly at work or need an expert and impartial view. Whether you have been dismissed, discriminated against or have an issue with a compromise agreement we are here to help and guide you through the process, step-by-step.

The services we offer employees include:

Advice:

We offer advice in plain English to help you make sense of all the legal jargon. Our team consists only of solicitors so you can rest assured that you are receiving expert advice when it matters the most. Our solicitors have considerable experience from both sides of the fence and use their experience to your best advantage. We have advised thousands of employees on a range of issues and helped them reach a satisfactory conclusion. We are here to help between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.

Conciliation:

We negotiate on your behalf to achieve the best deal for you. We have experience of negotiating with employers or other solicitors to obtain the best severance package for you, as well as experience of conciliation through ACAS to settle your Tribunal claim on favourable terms.

Compromise agreements:

All the advice you need to end your employment on the best possible terms. Compromise agreements are drafted by your employer or their solicitor on their terms (we know because we do this for our employer clients). It is a requirement that you see a solicitor to finalise your agreement so why not see a specialist in employment law? We can help you achieve the best possible terms financially, as well as helping you through the legal jargon of the document.

Representation:

Ensuring the best preparation and presentation of your employment law case at Tribunal from beginning to end. Our team of solicitors have practical experience of Tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. The team regularly conduct their own advocacy in Tribunal, offering you a completely personal service from advice and representation in the initial stages right through to Judgment and Appeal.

How do we charge?

We offer a wide range of pricing options to suit your needs.. We will explore all the options with you at an initial fixed-fee interview, choosing from a range of options so that you get the help you need in a way you can afford. Options include insurance funding, contingency fee agreements (no-win no-fee), fixed-fee arrangements or hourly rates.
