We regularly run training programmes for organisations who need to keep abreast of current legislation and best practice in employment law. Our employer clients like to make sure that their teams are properly briefed in the legislation that affects them.

Employment law foundation courses:

We offer an unique five-day foundation course in employment law This gives delegates a fundamental knowledge of employment law and the skills required to apply it in the workplace. This can either be in-house to a number of your staff or at an open programme for delegates from several organisations. Foundation courses are run according to demand, so if you are interested in finding out more contact us to discuss costs and availability.

Tailored training:

If your need is more specific, our solicitors are experienced trainers who will design courses to suit your requirements. We have designed a number of specific courses to meet the requirements of our employer clients from half-day updates to two-day employment law courses for managers. These are run in-house at the venue of your choice. The training programme is set by you according to your needs and if you are an Employment Law Solutions retainer client then you can even use your hours in this way.

Update seminars:

Our annual half-day update seminars provide an overview of the legislative landscape and an opportunity to discuss how it may impact your organisation. These are a great way to keep abreast of the latest changes and how they affect you. This is an open programme and costs less that £30 plus VAT per delegate. Free places are available to our Employment Law Solutions retainer clients. Please contact us to register your interest in the next update - places are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.

E-learning:

For situations where there are a large number of people to train, PJH Law is leading the way in the design and delivery of our ‘Dignity at Work’ e-learning course. Our approach to training

We believe that training should be as interactive as possible and not ‘death by PowerPoint’. You will not find delegates nodding off in our sessions! The team believe that delegates learn more about the law and how to apply it if they are involved in the training. We regularly use mixed media including pinpoint boards in order for delegates to build their knowledge pictorially.
